Love Lauren Couture is now making hats AND one-off bikinis! All enquiries to lovelaurencouture@live.com !

I’ve been making hats in my spare time which has been challenging but really good for my creative mind! I am really enjoying it and hoping to turn it into a little business project if they do well… Here are a few of my favourites… What do you think?

I’ve been shooting a top secret music video for the soundtrack to a huge new film! The artist wasn’t able to be on set so I was dressed as her and played her the entire day… It was so exciting and fun to study someone’s movements and gestures then try to recreate them.. Fingers crossed I did a good job because its set to stay a secret forever…. Any guesses of who it may of been?

The sun has finally hit London and what a difference it makes! Everyone has a smile on their face and their summer finery on! I’ve been enjoying afternoon tea on the Harrods Terrace, a spot of sunbathing and my new Jimmy Choo wedges! Thank God for summer!

I have to have these beauties in my life! I think they are fierce! But what colour?! Available ON SALE HERE!!!

I thought I would share my favourite products with you.. The items in my beauty bag that I simply cannot live without!
Sudocrem: Although for nappy rash, this cream applied like a mask overnight once a week heals any spots, reduces redness and makes you look so fresh in the morning! Its also great for sore skin after waxing or sunburn! Honestly, try it! It works!
Laura Mercier: This body butter in ‘Ambre Vanille’ smells incredible. Thicker than her soufflĂ© version, the butter is rich and great for dry skin.
Hylexin: This product is a miracle worker! You have to be dedicated to it and try and use it twice a day. It doesn’t sit we’ll under makeup though so I prefer to use just before bed. If you suffer with dark circles I cannot recommend this product enough.
Moon Beam: The best highlighter on the market in my opinion. This iridescent liquid from benefit lasts all day, looks great under makeup, over makeup, on the brow and cheek bones and even on the shoulders and collar bone for an evening out. The colour is different to many highlighters out there and it really shows up if you apply it over makeup but be careful not to make yourself patchy!

For Easter Sunday I took my parents for afternoon tea at The Great Fosters hotel in Egham. Everything about it was beautiful, the building, the setting, the food and the service! I highly recommend it… I had tea and scones of course and then I couldn’t resist a hazelnut and salted caramel hot chocolate and a piece of chocolate brownie! So much for avoiding the chocolate binge this Easter!
My duck egg blue spring Trench coat is by Burberry.
Beautiful beams in The Oak Room.

I am trying to avoid the chocolate binge that Easter brings.. But Easter wouldn’t be Easter without a Hot Cross Bun! I found these by Heston Blumenthal at Waitrose and they are a sensation! They are more of a brioche style bun with Earl Grey soaked fruit and mandarin pieces… Highly recommended toasted, with lashings of butter and a nice cup of tea! Happy Easter!
